INDEXED
CLASSES
Indexed
classes use the
2008
PAX Index to calculate results based on SCCA class. If you
choose an Indexed Class you will run against all other competitors
no matter what their SCCA class may be - Porsches vs. Hondas, for
example. The Index acts just like a handicap in golf to try to keep the competition level. We have two indexed classes and they are mutually
exclusive.
Street Tire Class
You
must use a DOT approved tire with a UTQG treadwear rating of 140 or
higher. No R-Compounds. You must append "ST" to
your class lettering on your car. For example, 25 ASPL ST.
Please note that Street Touring cars
(STS/STS2/STX/STU) are
not eligible for Street Tire Class.
Pro
Class
This
class is designed to let more competitive drivers compete directly
against each other. Cars are restricted only by their given
class regulations. All SCCA classes are eligible.
TO THOSE WHO WILL BE CHANGING TIRES!
THE ASPHALT IN THE PADDOCK PARKING LOT IS A LITTLE THIN.
PLEASE BRING SOMETHING TO PLACE UNDER YOUR JACK TO PROTECT THE LOT!
